Thank you for bearing with me as I post this year's Review in everything these past few days.
For some reason I feel the need to sum up my year in all I've seen and experienced.
I love nothing more than the outdoors and seeing Creation...in everything.

I truly am grateful to all of you for reading these posts, and am thankful for your comments. I may not always respond, but what you send me in the way of your thoughts, truly brightens up my day. I read and cherish every comment!!
Thank you!

I want to wish all of you a very Blessed New Year in 2011.
Aren't you so very excited to see what lies ahead?
I know that some of you are hoping things take a turn for the better....I hope that for you as well.
Some are wishing life will continue on in the same pleasantness of this year...I wish that also.
Regardless...I hope we all continue to grow and bloom into what we were created to be!

Saying Goodbye to 2010....
Happy New Year of 2011!

No Resolutions....

...only this thought:

"What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us."
~Ralph Waldo Emerson

No resolutions for me this year.
They aren't something I tend to do well.

(Is that in itself a resolution?:)

Things Learned in 2010....

Horses and children, I often think, have a lot of the good sense there is in the world.  ~Josephine Demott Robinson

Always,
ALWAYS,
ask- before dumping a 5 gallon pail of swamp water out.
With 3 boys, at least one bucket is liable to contain a pet....:(

So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries.
Today's trouble is enough for today.
~Matthew 6:25-34

ummmm....is it me,
or do you think the Leather Couch may have been inspired by the hippo?

You can tell yourself anything.
It just depends on how you decide to set your mind on a matter.

A wise old owl sat on an oak; The more he saw the less he spoke.
The less he spoke the more he heard....
Why am I not like that wise old bird?
~(Still in dire need of learning this one!)~

Free-Roaming Anything...
scares me.

The pedigree of honey Does not concern the bee;
A clover, anytime, to him Is aristocracy.
~Emily Dickinson

It isn't enough to know how to ride....one must also learn how to fall.

There is so much beauty in the simple.

Even though at times it may seem like it-
not everything in this world is out to get me!
(I also learned I do NOT like being surprised...)

"Did you ever stop to think, and forget to start again?"
~A.A.Milne
(I have learned I do this. Just ask
 the "2 timed-burned-out-bottom" tea kettle:(

A Lot can happen when you sit still
and embrace life with arms wide open.

It's been a good learning year.
