No mistakes in it....

Another year is drawing to a close,
and many of us seem to sit back and re-evaluate the year we have just lived out.

I find myself focusing on everything as one big jumble (and often- mess),
when really,
one needs to re-visit each moment and take from that moment~only what is needed.

One can learn from mistakes this way.
(I hope?)

And beauty can be found in the simple.

"Sometimes I lie awake at night and ask, 'Where have I gone wrong?'
Then a voice says to me,
'This is going to take more than one night.'"
~Charles M. Schulz 1922-2000

Enjoying the last few days of this year, in anticipation for a new one.
A brand new year.... with no mistakes in it.

Yet.
:)

you don't realize how much you inspire others, how important you are to so many people.

you run as much in your mind as you do on your feet. be kind and gentle to yourself.

your pictures are glorious!!

But mistakes are punctuation marks on the trail we call life. Mistakes just emphasize the humanity in each of us.
May your path be full of possibilities and challenges. May you grow stronger and braver with each fall.

Happy New Year.

For me, as a Christian, each day presents a new slate and a new year........365 days of decisions:)

Yes, one does learn from mistakes! If we didn't make mistakes, we would be doing the same boring thing over and over again. That quote made me laugh!

Happy New Year! :)

Good way to look at it, but boy, I am making up for mistakes I missed in the year, this week. Talk about blowing it big time, every single day, this week.
It will be nice to move on. :)

Yes, great quote. Way to set your goals up on a mountain. With those new Nike Trail Shoes ( love the red laces) you should be able to run up that mountain in style and comfort.

Dawn, you worry too much. Of course you will make mistakes. Everyone does. Perfection is too high a bar. I have always thought there is wisdom in the saying that The perfect is the enemy of the good.

Lovely poppies, and quote. I tend to take it one day at a time and never worry about what could happen, only celebrate what has happened. Happy New Year Dawn.
