15th year starts today....

Today marks the start of the 15th year I have taught my kids at home.
(Yes. Homeschooling.)
I started off having no idea what I was doing...and somehow managed to hang in through all the adventure...to get us to today.
It's had up and down moments- but I know there is not ONE day I would trade for ANYTHING.
I'm pretty blessed to be have been able to grow up with my kids!

Here's to a new year of learning together.
xx

I didn't know you homeschooled! That is so awesome. It's nice to find other homeschoolers out there. Congratulations on 15 years!

I didn't know you homeschooled either. I'm sure you learned as much as your kids through these 15 years. Congrats on seeing through on a great commitment to your kids.

I have helped numerous families, I feel you can do even better if you keep them always on task. It makes learning enjoyable since it is a family endeavor.I taught reading and special ed.

That's an impressive commitment teaching four kids! I bet it ha been fun, and challenging, relearning all the stuff we learned as kids. Spending all that time with them probably helped you become closer to them than most parents are with their children.

they look pretty happy for "first day" shots, so you must be doing something right!
