A thought...or few

If the 'road ahead' was unknown,
and 'around the corner' was a mystery....

would you travel that way?

If the grass looked greener on the other side...

would you jump the fence?

Do you bloom where you're planted~
                               sow seeds where you should?

If you want to be somewhere seemingly unimaginable,

do you break through the stubborn cracks of "society's mold"
to get there?

~And~
if you truly believed that each new day was a gift...

just how would you unwrap it?

the answer would be YES!

your opening line about the road ahead being unknown - we just think we know what's ahead and what we can plan for. truth is, we never know and have very little control. hopefully we're graceful enough to stumble through it and look like we were dancing. :)

Always enjoy the motivating words and images that you display here Dawn.

"Bloom where you are planted" has always been a benchmark for me.

Sounds like the life I've lived... Thanks for this, and for the reminder not to settle into the norms society expects of me...

I love the part -

"If every day was a gift
how would you unwrap it?"

I suppose going through life day by day none of us really appreciates what life is all about until
we face a challenge
and then things change.

Thanks for sharing and may you have many many days of happiness.

Question one: yes.
Question two: I have in the past and I'm not so sure I would or wouldn't do it again. It's a maybe.
Question three: I try to
Question four: Yes, most definitely
Question five: I would unwrap it by living in gratitude, showing love and enjoying laughter. Do unto others as I would have them do unto me is my philosophy.

Great photos and excellent post! It had me thinking, then I quit thinking and answered from my heart... sometimes I find that's the best way to respond.

Enjoy your day!

The place to be is where you're at.

:-)

Wild snapdragons grow in the sidewalk cracks in Minneapolis. They always make me smile.

If the grass is greener on the other side, I just add more fertilizer to my own grass. Very cool post. Thanks for sharing.
