Made me Wonder...

Looking out my bedroom window from the upstairs...

I saw 2 of these "hi" messages foot printed
into the new snow.

Made me wonder....

if my 10 year old was to get a cellphone,
would he still send me messages like this?

Once he is a teenager the answer is no unless he needs a ride or food, at least that's what happened to me :-)
I finally texted my son and said it looks like your phone must be broken since you won't text me back so I'll go ahead and cancel it :-)

Pretty pic BTW.

I think your son will unless he is with his friends but as soon as he is alone he will because you are an awesome Mom.
That is so cute. B

Most 10 year olds would lose a cell phone within the first week and not be able send anyone a message.... LOL

Wow. Those are really well done. I'm impressed. However, I think that it just wouldn't be the same from a cell phone.

Who knows but I don't know if I would give him one just in case, I love those kind of messages. :)

That's really neat! As for cell phones, I still don't own one.

Precious boy who loves his mother. I'd say you needn't worry about getting any fewer of these, by text or by snow.

That "hi message" is clearly from aliens. It's like a verbal crop circle.

Yup. He would still be ten and he would still love his mom.

Sure he will, until a girlfriend will steal his attention and you'll have to settle for text messages. But, you'll be happy that he is happy, that he has a special someone to share thoughts he won't be able to share with anyone else.

How sweet!
Cell phones have changed a lot of things, but I think a 10 year old would still want to say hi in his own special way.

i would rather have the message in the snow, hope they continue.I often leave them still for many to discover.

This is so sweet...may he never discover cellphones and forget THIS.

He writes a lot more neatly than me, that's for sure. And where are his footprints to and from his work?!
