Unknown Trail...

An unknown trail lures me in.
I want to know what's around every turn.

But don't you wish you could know each turn before you take it?
Then you would never make a wrong decision.

Lamenting this thought, but then I found this quote:

{{The strongest principle of growth lies in human choice.}}
~George Eliot

~~wrong decisions can be our growing places~~

SO true. Love this picture. I always think I want to know what will happen next, but I think it would ruin the whole faith thing and change my perspective too much. I guess that's the trust part. :)

Thanks for your gigantic comment on my blog! :) I'm so behind on all my blogs too, and am barely keeping up on a couple posts of my own! So sorry I have been scattered in commenting too. I'm trying to catch up, because I just love your blog and love reading them!

Hope you're doing well and your vacation is going great! (I think you're going on vacation?)

Talk soon!

I think that choice is what makes our lives interesting. I have often thought the same thing you think here, and later come to see that choice is what makes the future worth living. A friend of mine once said to me, "Allison, embrace the choices you make - accept that there will be bad with the good. But own your choice." Her words changed my life.
