Love it! We actually had big snowflakes falling here in NE Texas just a minute ago! But it's already turned back to rain, so no pretty accumulation like on your patio chairs!

Love that rock wall - is that part of your house or is it part of a fence?

A world I know nothing about!

texwisgirl: Would you like to have some of my pretty accumulation?:)) That's my chimney!

Pat: And one you would not WANT to know right now.

Mmm, hot chocolate does sound nice. Stay warm!!!

No, I'll pass on the accumulation for today. Hubby has to catch a flight out tomorrow and my niece from Wisconsin is flying in, so I'd rather not have any travel problems for any of us! :) Your chimney is very pretty!

Snowing here too, Dawn. Not a bad storm, just will be with us for a few days.

I'd love to come and sit for a few minutes and drink some cocoa. Sounds lovely. :)

well...as much as I would love to have tea with you, i'm afraid I will have to pass on that one for even if I wanted to I still wouldn't be able to drive on the snow drifted roads. :( so...have a cup for me, my dear!
Keep warm!

Dawn-- We are looking at about 1-3 inches of Snow, Ice and Freezing rain. It is the latter that is so dangerous here, with the Power outages from limbs falling and power lines snapping!

We have been through several over the years- and as a Paramedic- I keep us pretty well supplied and ready for emergencies. We once had an entire Week without power. People died, and babies were born on a grid-locked Interstate!

That being said--Do you mind if I pass on the SEAT right now? But--and that's a BIG BUTT- or is that- Butte????!!!!

this Spring- looking at your view--I will be the obnoxious in-law that shoes up, eats all your food and leaves!!!

LOL!

Great post Gal,

Hugs from an almost wintry SC- (starting after Midnight tonight!)

PS: You take AWESOME PICS!!!!

John

It looks so cold, I bet it would take lots of hot cocoa to warm me up.
I always enjoy your pictures.

I would take you up, but need a broom. Warm drinks out in the cold are nice. I have been tending a fire outside with a bunch of wood I am tearing out of my basement, grab a stick for marshmallows. It has warmed to 10 now.

I'm glad we're taking a break from snow here..... Although I've been drinking a daily dose of coffee to keep me warm regardless.

Looks just like my neck of the woods. How Canadian of us, eh?

I just got back inside from doing a radio interview from the inside of my parked car. I was chatting with Toronto's CFRB, and as I often do, I head out to the "studio in the driveway" to avoid the potential for a barking dog or loud munchkin.

Bad move today, as it had been snowing for much of the past 24 hours, and the temp was going into freefall. I froze my fingers - had my netbook with me just in case, so gloves were out - and in the end had to consciously try to avoid sounding cold.

I love this country! Scenes like yours just prove it.

It appears you're getting the same snow there, this is getting to be way to much snow for my liking! I LOVE your chimney, did you do that or buy it like this? Either way it's beautiful!

Wow! I haven't seen accumulations like that since I was a little girl (many years ago!) and that was a fluke. We're supposed to get an inch or two tomorrow and that's dangerous for these parts. The schools close, businesses close and people drive like maniacs!

Yikes! But what fun!

Awesome pics! It has been snowing all day here and is supposed to snow a ton more tonight!

Can't I just come inside?!

Looks like our deck this morning! We have 6"+ on the ground with more expected today. It's the most snow we've seen since the blizzard of 1993. We just don't get this down here in Georgia. :c)

Nice shot, Dawn.
