Morning Kayak
in the Sky

Evening Kayak
on Waves of Glass

~My Kayak and I have had some
good days out on the water this week.~
~~~~
Off to the city this weekend with my oldest as we signed up for a
10km Night Race together.
It's his first 10km run.
Bet you the free headlamp we get with our registration
that he beats me.
(even though he hasn't trained at all....)
~~~~

Have a wonderful weekend.....

Gorgeous, gorgeous pictures. And I totally think the reason he entered with you was JUST for that free headlamp. ;)

lovely pix! i always tend to look at shots of mirror-like lakes sideways, like a rorschach test. i'm odd like that...

It does look wonderful, Dawn. Both shots. Enjoy the race. You will be one proud mother when he finishes, whether ahead or behind you.

Dawn Oh you are a very lucky girl to enjoy views like this when ever you want and run a race with your son. Blessed you truly are. I am sure he will beat you but that is alright MOM. B

Gorgeous pics. Good luck with your race. My husband recently ran one where the members of our local cross country team sprinted right past him.

Really cool pictures. Looks like you were kayaking in a post card. Have fun racing this weekend! It's really cool you will be racing with your son. You might win if you make a bet that winner buys dinner :-).

Beautiful shots Dawn, what a peaceful way to spend some time.

All the best this weekend, just don't bet more than the headlamp or headlight (whatever you called it!) you might surprise yourself one of these days!

How serene, just hear the sound of the paddle splash.

Beautiful skies. I wish I'd been out there in a kayak too. :)

I was just telling my hubby about your kayaking experiences. I told him that I think we ought to consider buying one - and then I reconsidered. We need TWO because I refuse to let him drive all the time. Ugh! :D
