It is very comforting to be nestled in a place like that. That is what I love about mountains / hills. They sort of hold you in.
You are so very fortunate to have this gorgeous view so close to home. *sigh* Have a great weekend, Dawn!

What a gorgeous surrounding! I would cherish a walk there. Oh, well. I'll just walk around the pasture with Wendell (horse)!
Being content in every season and seeing the beauty around me is a good lesson for me Dawn. Thanks for the inspiring photos and text. Maybe the rain/ice will stop and the family and I can sneak in a nice weekend hike.
You live in such a beautiful place. It's just breathtaking seeing your pictures. I bet it's even more amazing in person.
Such pristine shots, what a lovely area.I would enjoy seeing this up close.
hello Dawnhow are you?your visual trails take me away so often. and I thank you. we do a lot of walking through the beautiful mountain parks yearly and your photo's look very similar to mine. I wouldn't be surprised if one day we run into each other. or perhaps we have already. :)thank you for sharingtake care!

A beautiful place to wander around.Costas
Great photos! I feel the same way about such places!
Stunning photos Dawn! I specially like the first one with the really tall trees and the one with the blue plant. I love when I come across blue flowers and birds when running and cycling.
Views like that make dragging on the boots, finding the gloves, packing on the coats and sweaters and driving through messy cold weather. I like how you took us from right under the nose~~~berries and needles to~~~jaw-dropping mountain. !!!!!!!
Too true. I loved those mountains the brief time I got to walk in them...
What a beautiful place to take a walk.
That's the way I feel in the outdoors. Beautiful photos. Have a great weekend.
Your first photo really emphasizes your thesis. At first glance, I missed the itsy bitsy person at the bottom center of the photo.
