my Favorite place on earth....

I could  wander through this place and over
these mountains every day,
and never get tired of the grandness of it all.

It's incredibly humbling being surrounded~

by something that is so much greater
than me.

I feel that same way. Nestled among the majestic... which is greater than me. Thank God.

It is very comforting to be nestled in a place like that. That is what I love about mountains / hills. They sort of hold you in.

What a gorgeous surrounding! I would cherish a walk there. Oh, well. I'll just walk around the pasture with Wendell (horse)!

Being content in every season and seeing the beauty around me is a good lesson for me Dawn.

Thanks for the inspiring photos and text. Maybe the rain/ice will stop and the family and I can sneak in a nice weekend hike.

hello Dawn
how are you?

your visual trails take me away so often. and I thank you. we do a lot of walking through the beautiful mountain parks yearly and your photo's look very similar to mine. I wouldn't be surprised if one day we run into each other. or perhaps we have already. :)

thank you for sharing
take care!

Stunning photos Dawn! I specially like the first one with the really tall trees and the one with the blue plant. I love when I come across blue flowers and birds when running and cycling.

Views like that make dragging on the boots, finding the gloves, packing on the coats and sweaters and driving through messy cold weather. I like how you took us from right under the nose~~~berries and needles to~~~jaw-dropping mountain. !!!!!!!

Your first photo really emphasizes your thesis. At first glance, I missed the itsy bitsy person at the bottom center of the photo.
