Tips to self for the new year....

Stand on guard for things that may try to wear you down.
(Because for certain there will be plenty of things that try just that.)

Always, always,
watch out for these.
(Life does manage to come up with things from out of no~where!)

Even if you aren't a kid...it's not a bad thing to act like one.
(I ate all of these.~~~~In one evening.)

And Bonus Tip:  {Self-control is a wonderful thing to own.}

You ate ALL of those jellybeans on one night? Oh my goodness! LOL

Hidden intersections and the fork in the road, ya, I can totally relate!

Great post and wonderful reminders.

Excellent points to remember, I like the part about acting like a kid sometimes, because this is one of the things that keep life fun.

Self control? It's so hard to find these days. That's why potato chips aren't allowed in the house. It's just easier that way. : )

Be well ~Andrea~

If I ate all those jelly beans, Dawn, I'd be one big hive right now. Hah!

But I do believe in the philosophy that growing up doesn't mean you can't be childlike.

Aweome post!

Never act your age, unless it is Wed and you can get a free cone at Macdonalds. I sit there and look at what I might become if I make it that long.I describe myself as young when I talk, it is the mirror that reminds me I am not twenty. I never stop over that for nothing.I got a good giggle with the jelly bellies.Hey, they are lowfat!Had help taking down my decorations and we ate most of the candy in the house, I hid the truffles.

Great tips! I'd pick out the licorice jelly beans and leave the rest...
Sometimes I'm shocked when I see a reflection of myself. I don't FEEL that old.

I would sit right beside you and share those jelly beans if I could! Yum. I could definitely use more self control. Glad to catch up on your posts. Have a great 2011!

Jelly beans....my favorite! We used to be able to buy "American beans" here but now we have to make do with the local ones that is not nearly as tasty.
