The first two quotes opened the gate and we were ready to charge through, then the last two closed us back into our own little space again. Just like events in life...
Fences are good to have, but like in the case today, I was watching as a little boy came running through the pasture chasing my neighbors rooster. He shot though my fence into my yard, I thought as I watched, fences are good unless you are a boy, then they just get in the way. I am glad for little boys who don't see fences. :)
I've heard the saying "Good fences make good neighbors" many times. There is some truth to that. I like the horse picture!
Good fences pics.
Build a little fence of trust around today; Fill the space with loving deeds, And therein stay.
Another quote: Country fences look absolutely beautiful in photos ... Yours certainly are magnificent, Dawn! And that horse is just so precious. As for me, "Don't fence me in" also comes to mind.
My mother use to say " Fences make good neighbors." Wonderful photos.

In or out? Sometimes, I'm walking the fence, trying to decide. :)
I am not much for fences. In fact, I could probably stand to build a few more to avoid certain dangers. Beautiful quotes.

Wow! That's a wonderful series of shots (and quotes) but I especially love the first one. It's perfect!
That first pic is gorgeous, Dawn. Beautiful Canada!
I like boundaries so fences are okay with me...great pictures.
Beautiful fence photos and quotes.
There are some perceptive observations about human nature in those quotations. Sometimes, however, you just want to tear them down.
In some of the cities in South Africa the crime rate is so high that people barracade themselves behind high walls with electric wire on top. It sometimes look like jails. I still love the wide open spaces and freedom of fenceless properties.
These are great quotes, Fences!kim
I love the last one the most :) I also agree with the quote too!!
