Real Life Adventure

(Photo taken by a friend during our recent adventure to Florida/Caribbean)

Don't you wish you knew what would happen if you chose a particular path....
Before you took it?~~

Wouldn't it be nice to know what the outcome would be....
Before it happened?~~

Then again...it wouldn't be real life.

And how much adventure would there be in
that?

Exactly! And knowing what happens before you go down that path might prevent you from getting to the cheese... er, good stuff at the end!

Not me...Then I wouldn't have anything to learn from if I took the wrong path and if I did know the outcome before it happened I would worry about it if it was not good. So, I'd rather not know ;0
and you're right it wouldn't be real life.

oh, sometimes just a peak into a crystal ball would be nice!

I often wish I could do an experiment where I could take one path, see the outcome, then go back and take the other path and compare.

Neat photo. Perhaps someday we will be able to get a glimpse of the road not taken...

I would truly find that frightening. not every path is one you might would have taken had you known.

I agree, where would the adventure be. Very nice shot!

Nah! I don't wanna know. The joy (and pain that leads to growth) is discovering along the way. :)

you're right... and that's a good thought for me today. But I could use a bit of constant from time to time. Call me crazy. ;)

Look at those streets, what an amazing concept. So what do they do with potholes? I wonder if it's much quicker to put in another brick and just be done with it or if it's much more complicated than that.

Half the fun in life is not knowin. I like Rick's saying, I sure wouldn't want a program then I'd know what time the show was over!

I wouldn't want to know. Because if you knew something bad was coming, how awful would that be? Better to be surprised, either way!

Your friend sure took a nice photo. I know that wouldn't be real life, but I think I would be up for knowing ahead of time. Lol.

Dawn I love the cobblestone and no I don't want to know what comes next I love the adventure most of the time. B

There are some times when, sure, I would like to know how it will end before I start. But, there have been enough times when I have stumbled into something good and unexpected, and I would hate to lose all of the serendipity. On balance, I will take life as it is, and take my paths based on my calculations of the odds.

Nice pic.

Your friend has a good photographic eye. Very generous of you to post their photo. If I were to post a friend's photo on my blog, I'd make sure it wasn't THAT good:-)

Too true! This is what grows us and grows our love for the one who gave us life...

What a great photo!

Sometimes I wish I would have known what would happen down a certain path, but you know what? I wouldn't change it! The paths I took are the paths that shaped who I am. (:
