You have such a way of finding those unique things in every day life! I would have never thought about that when seeing that building, but now that you mention it, it is a comforting thought. :)
Dawn I have always loved the clash of two centuries in architecture it has always amazed me. Shiny and new vs. worn yet rugged and the old will probably will last longer. B
It's a good thing that someone can take something from the past which is still standing firm and appreciate it... otherwise I might be single today! lol
You have such amazing insight Dawn, I love the way you think!
I love "old and new in juxtaposition" shots. I tried to create a mini-theme on those lines from my Melbourne photos, but they weren't that awesome, truthfully.

I love it! I find that old architecture are such jems among modern buildings. So sad that people want to tear them down, for ugly boxy skyscrapers. Great job :) B

It almost looks out of place, and yet still looks like it belongs, kind of like Grandma with all the kids!

looks out of place and yet it looks quite comfortable!!

Maybe its my age but I like seeing the old style architecture remain in use.
Nice thought and pic, Dawn.

Pam
Ah yes, I wish there was more of the old kept for us to appreciate...
I love the older buildings. I think they had more style.
I like seeing a blending of old and new. This old building looks handsome with the sleek modern buildings behind it.
Love those old buildings besides new buildings! and great quote yes!

I agree! We need roots as well as a future.
True! I like this shot. And I love the thought. xoxo
Not sure about Banks anymore. They have sold all their buildings and just rent them here.

:-)
I like it......
I agree. It is like taking a grandchild looking at birds or fishing. Family roots should run deep and secure as some of the buildings.
:)
