My daughter went to the zoo on Friday.
Today she showed me her photos she took while there.....
(As much as I think animals should roam free out where they were meant to roam...
it never ceases to amaze me how incredibly beautiful and well-designed they are.
Even (sadly) behind their bars.)

How beautiful they are Dawn! Your daughter is quite the photographer too! : ) Have a great week!
Health and happiness,
Angela
Thanks Angela....wishing you a wonderful week as well!
Totally Cool!
I agree with you on the zoos. Always makes me sad to see the animals that are out of their natural habitat (like Africa) and brought to another continent for our amusement. Yet I always hope they are well tended and comfortable at least - or maybe were born in captivity and don't know anything else.
These are really beautiful photos. Your daughter has a good eye like her mother... :)
Excellent photos.
A lovely capture of some family Zoo time, Dawn. You added perfectly strong words to each photo!
Have a happy happy Monday. xxx
Stunning pics! I especially love the hippo one.
Thank you so much for this beautiful and inspiring post. I hope you had a wonderful weekend.
xx
Those are wonderful.
Oh, this makes me want to go to the zoo. I seriously haven't been as an adult. Sad, huh? I have issues with the animals being caged up but at the same time I love that anyone can see them to appreciate them more.
we share in the same feeling - i do NOT like zoo's - the whole 'capture and bars' thing breaks my heart - and most r treated SO bad - but they are MARVELOUS creatures!!!

Love the hippo...I am kinda feeling that way today!

God had to feel really proud when He created tigers. They are the most magnificent creatures.
I'd rather not see those animals behind bars either, but your daughter is an awesome photographer.
