A new camera....

....Phone.
It seems I still can't be courageous enough to buy and settle with a camera.
(I have indecisiveness syndrome.)
But- I DID get a new phone...camera included;)

I took these this morning to try it out....on my Mother's Day gift I received.
A sweet apple tree.

It's been so windy here, so the leaves look a bit rumpled.
But it does have some blooms blooming.

(So happy to see more proof of spring, now that it's almost summer...)

~One day I will be courageous enough to settle down with a real camera~

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

Well ain't this a coincidence - you, Darlene, and I all posting apple blossoms on the same day ! You'd think it was spring. somewhere ;-)

Nice shots, Dawn.

Oh about that indecisiveness - just go ahead and buy a camera - it'll be obsolete in a few years anyhow and then you can buy another ...

Conratulations on the new camera....phone ;)

I was so happy to see your comment on my blog. I was looking for you yesterday and couldn't find you. Your blog was missing from my list. Now I know it was because of the name change :)

Those photos are pretty good considering you took them with your phone.

Dawn I love the apple tree gift. What a great idea. I just have a little Cannon powershot that I love it fits in my pocket and is not allergic, to mud, rain, bugs and me. Great shot with camera phone. B

What a nice Mother's Day present! I don't think I've ever really been around apple blossoms but I bet they smell lovely. Have a great weekend. :)

Nice shots with the camera phone. I never learned how to use mine. And my actual camera is obsolete at 7 years old, but I can't get rid of it because it still works. Ha.

Great shots! Isn't it amazing how far camera phones have come?

I understand the hesitation to buy THE camera..took me forever to commit!

well, i'm always amazed at the photos you take with your camera anyway! they're beautiful! i love the apple tree gift! and hurray spring!!!

as for a 'real' camera, i always think of you running and can never picture a camera fitting into that routine so the phone at least fits into your life!

I got out yesterday for a walk. Some trees (apples, dogwoods, redbuds) are still in bloom, but the maples are mostly leafed out)

I too suffer from camera issues. Costco has a nice digital Canon Rebel set with regular AND telephoto lens.

Hi, my first visit to your blog... Its great, the whiteness and the tenderness is nicely captured...
Loved the pics on your blog. Looking forward to more of the same in the future, have a great weekend:)

Well, Dawn, whatever you have been using before isn't too shabby, because your pix have been good. I think cameras are like computers. You know that next week a new one will come along that is beter, but if you keep waiting you keep doing without. Just jump in when you are ready and don't look back.

I like these photos! What kind of phone did you get? (I love getting a new phone now and then, but I'm stuck with my blackberry for awhile, until it breaks.)

Same here. I've still got my trusty red pocket-size with a permanent spot on the lens. Good grief, Charlie Brown!

what a wonderful mothers day gift. some of my favorite gifts have been "plantable". tree's, azealea's and lilac's, to name a few. i love watching them grow and remembering the special day i received them.

i also suffer from camera issues. i always used a cannon point and shoot and finally graduated to a nikon dsl, i LOVE it. very simple to use and it takes great pictures.

enjoy the rest of your weekend!!!

Like Rick said... we all must be having spring fever or something, maybe just totally appreciating finally seeing blossoms or as I mentioned to Rick, great minds think alike! :-) Nice shots, what type of a phone did you get? My next one is going to be the iPhone I'm thinking.

I suggest you take the leap and get a camera, they're so awesome to have. When I think back to my first day with my Rebel XSi I was scared to hold it, I didn't have a clue what I was doing. Now it's a part of me, I love the quality of photos it takes and even if I want to upgrade the lenses will follow. I'm sold on Canon, yup a Canon girl through and through. I learned on this one and I'm extremely pleased so why wouldn't I stay with Canon? Personally I don't care for their newest models, I think they're called the T1 and T3 something or another, they take video as well and from what I've heard the videos are fantastic. I find the camera too big.

The weekend is going fantastic thank you, the fresh air and hard work has me tired and it's only 10pm! Ahhh life in the country eh? lol I hope your weekend is also going well!

Love to see flowers :) Looks like a real camera to me

A "real" camera is the one you use. And you've always managed to squeeze brilliance out of anything you pick up.

Feel free to ping me with any questions if you're still mulling another cam purchase. Been there...happy to help.
