Things (not) To do

It seems there must be many unwritten rules to camping.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Like....
never go kayaking with your big brother unless you plan on getting wet.
Or....
NEVER go to sleep in your tent with a brother who likes art and has access to an ink pen.
I guess another rule could be...ALWAYS look in the mirror upon waking ;)
Make sure you always tell at least ONE good story around this before zipping up your sleeping bag.
Send the kids to do the dishes.....
I'm SURE they have more fun than we do at this chore anyway.
Always use your head.
Never forget to take the time
to stop at the beautiful moments.
And if all else fails,
you can always go
~~~Jump in the Lake.~~

Those are some brilliant rules! And I must say, I don't think I'd go kayaking with my big brother.. He'd definitely just tip my boat, haha. Loving all the photo's too! Especially the last one. (:

Id like to invite everyone to read a blog post today of a woman who joined the old order Mennonite church from the outside. I'm extremely lucky in publishing her very first, and most likely last post on Amish Stories. A lot of work was involved in her getting permission to be even able to write anything on the internet, and permission was given by her bishop. So please stop by and read about a woman who gave-up her car and other worldly possessions for the person that she loved. Richard from Amish Stories.
