"eye candy"

Oh Boy.
I love this time of year.
I know- I know.
Candy is not good for you.
But it's so good!

I am terrible around it.
Ask my friend.
On a short road trip I can consume an entire bag.
And when I'm at home when no one is looking...
(guess that is a confession right there!)

I try not to do it too often...but there are times when I just cannot help it.

And Candy Corn time of year doesn't help the situation.

Neither does Caramel Time of year.
********

My favorite is when you take these....

...unwrap them and melt them into this....

And then you take these.......

....and dip them into this.....

Then they get plunked onto here.....

....and call my name.

(I cannot help but respond.)

I miss caramel apples from Rocky Mountain Fudge Factory in West Edmonton Mall. Those are so reminding me of them. xo

You are just ruining my whole evening! First Chronicles of a Country Girl posts ice cream sandwiches! Then you post my all time favorite State Fair food - caramel apples!!! The peanut butter & jelly bread I had for dinner just doesn't seem so great anymore... :)

And I was doing SO well staying away from the 'good' stuff - till I got here ! My all-time favourite has to be anything chocolate (excuse me while I get just 1 more of those Lindt chocolate balls - at least I can type with a mouth full !). I don't like raisins but if the last thing we have in the house is chocolate-covered raisins, I'll gladly eat the chocolate off and discard the raisins.

Good thing halloween is coming - candy corn and caramel candies AND chocolate bars ! ;-)

I think I just gained 3 pounds reading this post !

Yum. I have the same problem. Strange ... I didn't start eating candy corn until I was 40.

Candy no longer calls to me thankfully, but I still have to hide it from hubby and Sam or there'd be none come Oct 31st!

Mmmmm. Caramel apples. I have been wanting one of those. And have you seen the ones dipped in chocolate after the caramel? Oh my gosh. That would have to be sinfully good.

My caramels never last long enough to melt, then I always say I'll buy more and make caramel apples but it's never happened yet :O)

You can keep apple though...I don't need fruit taking up the room I may need for more candy!

I love this post, your caramel apples make my mouth water and I don't even much care for them. My weakness is... yup, chocolate but I'm like you... I TRY to stay away from it...yummmm anything with dark chocolate! I bought an abundance of candy not knowing how many trick or treaters are going to show up at my door but if I have tons left when it's getting late the lucky last ones get whatever's left, no temptation that way.

Now I'm going to go back and revisit your caramel apples! :-)

It's that time of the year, before Christmas wishes creep in to haunt us.
