Heartfelt Walk~~~

One day last week....(after a very trying and tiring day).....I decided to go for a walk.
Of course I took my camera...
~
...and just took pictures of everything that made me smile.
It was a smile-filled walk.

This particular capture held me though.
It was almost as though this tree had a heart.
It held me in a sense of wonder.
Of awe.

That's what nature and being outdoors does for me.
It makes me feel alive again.
It gives me heart to get through the next round of another day.

~ My Heart-Full tree ~

A woodland in full color is awesome as a forest fire, in magnitude at least, but a single tree is like a dancing tongue of flame to warm the heart.

I feel the same way; there is always something new to see, and fresh. There are also none of the constraints, none of the stress of the endless things you have to do, or haven't done. It is just beauty - waiting for you to come experience it.

Dawn,
Happy Sunday.. What a lovely sight to see on a walk.. I too love walking and nature .. Growing up with a woods-filled back yard, then living (now) in a beach town..Well ,let's say I really miss those days..
Hmm..think I'll find some woods today and take me a little stroll...

Have a most beautiful day and upcoming new wek :-)

Capturing these types of images is uplifting for me as well. I'm glad you have found this outlet to express your joy of nature and to let off some "steam," in the process. Hope you are having a wonderful Sunday! :)

That's a beautiful photo!

I also love to walk. In my university, there's lots of trees around and that makes me love walking from one class to another. I actually have a favorite tree in school. It's huge and tall and its leaves and branches are beautiful. I don't know what kind it is, though.

Walking with nature is always a beautiful experience. =]

beautiful picture Dawn!
how I love to do the same....it is so good for the soul....helps me see beyond the immediate, lets me know that everything truly will be okay.
Reminds me a great things, powerful things, the energy of creation is so.....well....wordless and I find great comfort in that.
So glad to see others feel as I do.

love and light

Awww, I love your tree's shiny heart! This is such a good idea to do for when you're feeling down. Just go out with the camera looking for things that make you smile. All so soon, you'll find so much to smile about! :) Happy week ahead!

I love the way the sun is peeking through the tree, very nice shot Dawn.

I noticed on Rick's blog that you mentioned snow...we've been getting rain in the city, cold, wet rain but it sure beats the heck out of snow!

Hope you have a fantastic week!
