Okay, that polar bear? TOO CUTE! It was 60 degrees here yesterday, and I WANT snow! :) That really put a smile on my face. Have a good day!

Oh, I'm about 1000 or so miles south of you, but I'd like to be at the beach, too!!! Your part of the world is beautiful, Dawn. Amazing how our huge Earth has so many diverse and breathtakingly beautiful areas!

I know you'll stay warm, as you're equipped for that kind of cold. I would be shivering in my skinny bones! Lovely pics!

Of course I adore your new pup (what's his or her name, btw?)

And the arctic cactus made me laugh!

But I loved your defying stance the best!

Happy day to you and yours!

So nice! I spent many years growing up in North Dakota and remember these snow images well.

Brrrr...but the puppy looks cute and warm. Happy Thanksgiving Dawn, even though I know you already celebrated the Canadian Thanksgiving. Hugs from Washington State, USA. :)

THe dog looks just like a big polar bear.. He would be sleeping with me at night if I was sleeping in a tent to keep warm... I did that once ~ when I was 16 . all winter long ~ every night with my big orange cat.. My Dad said I couldn't do it...well I proved to him that I could.....ta ta for now..annieptigger@aol.com from Iowa.

You are reinforcing the Canadian stereotype. Wonderful shots of what we (I) can anticipate.

Oh that polar bear puppy is such a sweetie! It would be worth the snowy weather to snuggle up with that little cutie. Great photos.

Oh dear Dawn, let's change for some days: you come to my place and enjoy the white sandy beaches and I go to your place and enjoy snow!!!What do you say???

Duke! I love that! He looks like a real handful! Hang in there. The puppy phase only lasts about 2 years... :)

No, I don't ride anymore. I used to try. It never came naturally to me and I had to work at it - started too late in life and had lots of fear. So after realizing it was not fun for me or the horse, I just gave it up. Need a saddle?! :)

very creative post, I love how you see things. I've forgotten snow that's dry enough to drift like sand ours is so wet and heavy

Mixed feelings about your weather-related shots today - beautiful scenes of winter ... but sooo cold ! You'd be bored down here Dawn - another sunny, warm day.

I just love that little (but growing fast) polar bear - reminds me so much of our Sasha, who would gladly trade places with you !
