Who knew you could find so much creative beauty in a mere apple core?
~~~
And since we're on the subject....
I just want to thank Trisha from ROUNDABOUT for this:
And Jo from Miz. November for this:
(leather envelope and ring)
I received both of these packages in the mail over the past couple weeks, and these artistic and creative people were the reason.
Trisha and Jo both have Etsy shops...
here:roundabout shop and here:miz.november shop
A BIG thank you to both of you, you made my days brighter.
(which I need today~as it is SNOWING as I type. Can you believe it?)
As I always say, blog friends are the best! Love the wreath -- Trisha is so creative. And that leather envelope is so cool. How do they do it? :)
is it wrong that i just got a hankering for apple pie? sigh
I knew about the book wreath you won from Trisha, but the leather envelope is really cool too! You're on a roll, dearheart! :)
Beautiful! At first I thought the apple core was a flower, would you believe it?
very nice! When i saw it first i thought it might be passion fruit. I would never have guessed it was an apple....
Thanks and i'll check out the links!
The book page wreath is just too sweet. Sorry to hear it is snowing again...its just gets old after a while. No matter where you live.
I am so glad you got some goodies in the mail. Snowing!! After that beautiful day with the blue, blue sky. Oh well, it is almost over.
That apple core looks like a fresh flower. Your beautiful, creative eye caught a great one.
The beauty and joy of simple things.
We eat apples all the time here & I've never looked at the beauty in them. Such a great shot! You make me realize I need to slow down & be more observant :)
I'm so glad you love the wreath.So great to see it hanging up! And what a cool leather envelope! I have to go check out her shop!!
I guess those snowmen did a snow dance last night.
I like receiving anything in the mail as long as its not a bill. Really nice purchases. Sorry about the snow. Enough snow already its the middle of March. Thank goodness we only had rain today.
You just never fail to amaze me...
That is so beautiful...I would of thought it was a flower!!
(Oh no snow?)
Closeups are revealing in making me look at things, better. Like your apple.
My daughter was standing here now as I read this post and she said... "Oh... it's a face!"
Beautiful apple art!
And I love Trisha's wreath - so pretty with the white flowers!!
Ugggh, the "S" word, and it doesn't end in pring! lol The gifts are amazing, some people are just that creative. I like to be creative when time permits, unfortunately there is no time to be creative unless you count doing an eight page paper the day before it's due as creative! lol
Have a great Thursday Dawn!
What an awesome eye you have!
Sorry--sounds like Little Red Riding Hood's Wolf had an accident. Probably with a Red Ryder BB Gun, or a Pointy pencil!
I amen the Apple at it's Core was awesome!!!!
So sweet of you to visit me at sixtyfivewhatnow. Hope you can get back on that bike soon.
A delight to drop in today.
so sorry for the snow...great photos...great gifts in the mail...
I at first thought that was a very pale johnny jump up (wild pansy), but considering where you are..... Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
The apple core looks like a flower, very clever!
That wreath is stellar! It looks so pretty on the wall.
I am so glad you liked your stuff. It took a decade to get to you, though. Your comment really made my day. It always makes my day when someone likes something that I made. :)
Now if I could only figure out how to send you some sunshine.
