Ha! These pictures are SO sweet. I love that first one. And it looks to me like it's warming up in Canada... is that right? It just LOOKS warmer! I'm keeping my fingers crossed just for you. xoxo
LOL, awesome post! You got some fantastic shots in here Dawn. Oh how I yearn to be on the farm, not so much to see the birds but to sit in the hot tub and hear nothing but the hum of the jets! lol
That poor guy is just trying to get someone. I have one sparrow who had flitted around my different houses around the yard in hopes of a mate, but just can't get the right tune out for them.I was in shorts 2 days ago(rub it in) while i was out in Oregon for a couple days.

I love the birds when they're all puffed up in winter. Pretty cute. :)

I love the way those little birds are so puffed up in the snow... Spring is on the way, Dawn, I'm sure of that.
Hee hee. Musta had his feelings hurt. :)
Ummm, knowing what I know, I think that bird suffers from a lack of social skills :)

Awwww....his friend left.
It must have been pretty bad to take off so fast and fly so far up.
Awww poor bird!
Too cute!! Wonder what was said..I mean "chirped? :) With all those birds I bet it sounds like spring. Hope your weather starts to feel like it too!!
She was probably gossiping about the wrong bird. Great shots!
I think I overhead their discussion. Momma bird was quite angry. She said, and I quote, "If I hear another peep out of you!"
The kid bird said "Peep!" and flew away.
Shame,I won't be chatty...eh...chirpy..., either if I'm half frozen!
I think he was telling her about some new moves he'd been working on, and then demonstrated them. She obviously wasn't impressed.
Back to the drawing board.

Looks a bit fat to take off?

Had a hawk visit my back yard and lost a few birds too...I know it is nature but that doesn't mean I like it.
Cute observations and pictures! :)
Cute! The poor little birdie was left all alone.
Well, at least we know which one was the male and which one was the female!
Funny photos and post...
