What a beautiful photograph, Dawn!
Beautiful Dawn! I'm still chuckling about it.
I was so relaxed staring at the floating in the air, I forgot where I was.. Beautiful photo presentation, Dawn.Hugs,Pam
A feather on the wind can say so much without saying a word.
sometimes i wish i could hit a "pause" button in life. just to make a special moment last a bit longer...to savor and relish every single thing about it. or, maybe i should just takes more pictures! :)
What a great expression of an important concept. WE all coupld benefit from slowing down and capturing those moments. Love the feather photo.
Oh Dawn you always make me think and I really appreciate that. I love the way you make everything seem fixable. Times are tough for a lot of folks right now and you inspire them. B
gorgeous feather on the water! frame it!and i'm SO glad you linked to your mom's post. i begged her to link back to your blog but she thought she might get into trouble. so glad you fessed up and are taking it as your own! :)
Love the feather and the words!
Great photos and great message.
Lovely catch, you haven't said if you are using your new camera exclusively.I just passed 8000 pics last week on one I broke in at the end of October last year.
Beautiful--love the reflection (and how on water it almost looked like sky). Good advice, too!
Great captures, Dawn. Love the idea of holding onto moments... time does pass so quickly. :)
slowing down is some excellent advice
Beautiful pics and great advice. Funny story about the mouse :-). Did you catch it yet?
I can't believe you actually captured the feather falling like that. I guess your new camera is working like a charm. Lovely!!!
Dawn thank you very much for your birthday greeting.I really like your blog and I admire sportsmen.Your photos are expectaculares. If one day come to Costa Rica you loves landscapes. In my country we have many mountains, volcanoes and beautiful beaches.I send you a big hug,Zuly Castillo U.
Amen Dawn. Powerful message and I love how the photo emphasizes the point. Seize the day indeed.
I needed a good laugh. Poor mouse must have been scared to death. You post is lovely.
I just about wet my pants laughing so hard at the " mouse mobile...hahahaha. Thanks so much for sharing. I needed that. Wayne
What a stunning shot, Dawn. I think we live too much of our lives unconsciously - thanks for the reminder.
I should print this out, stick it to the fridge because you're absolutely right...Pearl
Beautiful! So beautiful! Just perfection. Again!
I love this! You really do have a talent in matching your words to the photos so well.
Dawn your first photo is a stunning capture. I couldn't agree more that we take so much for granted in life, until we experience either going without or experience something life-altering... then we find the gratitude for the things we once took for granted. Things such as taking a shower, using the washroom, tying up your shoes, taking a breath without an oxygen mask attached and hoses coming out of every orifice in the human body. Yup, it's an amazing day to be alive, thank you for the reminder! I sure got a good laugh out of the mouse story, now that was funny! I was trying to figure out how come I've never put two and two together and figured out that Flora is your Mom. I sure wouldn't make a good detective when something is right in front of my nose! lol I've been following her blog for quite some time now but I've never made the connection. Have a great day!
Wow! What a lovely photo. So simple, yet so exquisite! I absolutely love it. (:
that was great I don't know why mice are so scary :O)
What beautiful shots, Dawn! Fantastic! Your photos are always enjoyable to look at.
Such dreamy shots - very serene!
Haha, bet there was nothing slow about your reaction to that mouse in your car. Shouldn't that read "Slow Down and reflect on how that rodent moves quickly. If you don't stop and capture that mouse, then it will always covet your trouser leg":-)
dawn...i did not know that flora was your mom....but i read her post & saw "the sneakers" and i knew...it had to be you!!the feather is beautiful, the blue's so blue!!
