Your Moment

~Slow Down~
and reflect
on how

~Each Moment~
moves quickly.

If you stop and capture that moment,
then
it
will always
be

  ~Yours~

For one of my Not-So-Proud moments...

A feather on the wind can say so much without saying a word.

What a great expression of an important concept. WE all coupld benefit from slowing down and capturing those moments. Love the feather photo.

Oh Dawn you always make me think and I really appreciate that. I love the way you make everything seem fixable.
Times are tough for a lot of folks right now and you inspire them. B

Lovely catch, you haven't said if you are using your new camera exclusively.I just passed 8000 pics last week on one I broke in at the end of October last year.

Beautiful--love the reflection (and how on water it almost looked like sky). Good advice, too!

Dawn your first photo is a stunning capture. I couldn't agree more that we take so much for granted in life, until we experience either going without or experience something life-altering... then we find the gratitude for the things we once took for granted. Things such as taking a shower, using the washroom, tying up your shoes, taking a breath without an oxygen mask attached and hoses coming out of every orifice in the human body. Yup, it's an amazing day to be alive, thank you for the reminder!

I sure got a good laugh out of the mouse story, now that was funny! I was trying to figure out how come I've never put two and two together and figured out that Flora is your Mom. I sure wouldn't make a good detective when something is right in front of my nose! lol I've been following her blog for quite some time now but I've never made the connection.

Have a great day!

Haha, bet there was nothing slow about your reaction to that mouse in your car. Shouldn't that read "Slow Down and reflect on how that rodent moves quickly. If you don't stop and capture that mouse, then it will always covet your trouser leg":-)

dawn...i did not know that flora was your mom....but i read her post & saw "the sneakers" and i knew...it had to be you!!

the feather is beautiful, the blue's so blue!!
