I would love to be looking down that valley. I knew I would catch your eye with some new greenery.I have a lot of bulbs in my yard, but some get harvested early by critters so I always add more.
On our way home from Atlanta we stopped at Tallulah Gorge and hiked all the way to the bottom. A sign at the top of the steps said something like 1062 steps to the base of the falls. They meant actual stair steps. Not just walking steps. It was better than any stairmaster!
You're toying with me again Dawn; making me nostalgic for those days when I could hike out in amazing Alberta and beautiful BC ! Gorgeous shots (was that 3rd one near Peyto Lake ?).
So true about thinking ahead. Often the best campsites are reserved early in spring so one has to book early. The photos reveal some wonderful hiking potential.

Oh I can't wait to go hiking either! Soon as my IT band is better and the weather warms up!
I'm clicking my heels 3 times but nothing happens. I would love to be climbing a mountain, any mountain right now versus sitting here at work ...yuck!
My mind's turned to hiking, too. Where were those pics taken?
Hi Love your blog and the beautiful pictures!!!!
Miss ya.
"It is not the mountain we conquer but ourselves." I LOVE THAT! (Although I don't mountain climb, I love the symbolic mountains). Great post!
Happy that you have something to look forward to during the season of ice and snow! :)

Hi Dawn! Nice of you to stop by The Villages!
Looks like you are already out climbing mountains! One of our daughters lives at 9,000 ft in Colorado. We visit. We hike. I stay away from cliffs.
I've been scrolling down through your posts...got some great stuff! Really enjoy your sense of humor and super photos!
I would love to join you on your hike :)
Love, love, love the pictures...
