As long as the puddle stay as such and doesn't become a raging torrent!

That is a lot of water. But it is not snow right?

Holy smokes, the water is sure running at a rapid rate! What fun to feel the water running like that over your feet, I MISS THE COUNTRY ... as I stamp my feet and pound on my desk! lol Awesome shot Dawn!

Neat photo!

When the water is just a little warmer, do not miss the opportunity to lose the boots and splash in the water barefooted. That is liberating. Good photograph!

Ain't that just the truth. There's no two ways about it. Thank you for this.

You can certainly say that again...we just seem so startled when we step in it!

A very cool shot...and a familiar site.

Do puddles mean spring is finally on its way? Oh, I remember them from Sweden in spring, walking home from school, splashing all the way when I was a little kid. Great photo.--Inger

I feel like that today. Everyone at work was the puddle and I stepped into it. Makes it hard to stay upbeat.

Cool. I love rubber boots. The water looks cold though!

You said it lady. And those boots line my parents' basement. Totally thinking of my dad now!

Even in the desert? Hee hee. Couldn't resist.

May your paths be puddle-less from now on! :)

Really nice photo! And such simplicity resonates such truth! :)

Another good philosophical thought, well illustrated by those boots.

Some have too many puddles - until you find a log to put over them.

Puddles can be fun! Just jump right in and splash your way through them. Whatever you do, don't try to creep round the edge:-)

Peter said...

I can jump puddles.

you didn't get swept away did you :)

I must say that I do find your "optimistic" view of life invigorating...yet, I've often been stuck in a puddle along my path and it's been a bit messy getting out of it. Which is probably what most people experience. My old psych prof in grad school used to quote Carl Rogers who noted that what is most personal is often or usually most general.

Meanwhile I'll keep slogging along!

Alli said...

How very true. As long as the puddle isn't too deep. Sometimes it's even fun to get a little wet and muddy!

Love the photo with the water streaming behind the boots!

I try to jump them! :)

Puddles are much easier to handle.

Ain't that the way life goes. And to me, that's not necessarily a bad thang.

Rick said...

Ah, but in the right frame of mind, puddles are SO much fun. Just ask any 5-year old !!

My boys love to put on their similar rubber boots and go play in the rain and puddles. Why not? It would break their hearts if I ever said no.

Congratulations on your potw.
