You bet it is. We're passed the baton at birth and no matter what we're dealt, we keep on running. This, Dawn, comes after a day of saying final good-byes, and it was just what I needed. Thank you.
i thought maybe one of the other girls were going to go back and help her up....then reality hit me - ya this is more like real life!!-but hey lots of cheerleading from the side line-wonder who they could represent?!lots to think about...
Wow, that is amazing. And it is inspiring to see the racer pick herself up and keep going, even when her chances don't seem good. She's a winner in every way.
Dawn, this is amazing and I get the message loud and clear. Thank you. One day when we meet I'll share with you how hard I fell and today I've brushed myself off and am well on my way. Life is amazing and I love the quote by Churchill. I've posted that one a few times as my status on fb and actually I think going into finals it's time to repost it! Thanks. :-)
Dawn, my oldest Son is a high school teacher and track coach. Every year I take pictures of the athletes as they practice and he uses them to help better their performance and training.
I sent this to him to share with the team. Thank you so much.
There is no question we need inspiration sometimes and a helping hand. Unfortunately, there are lots of folks for whom those things are not enough. It would be nice if the leadership of this country cared more for such people than for the rich and greedy.
This made me think of watching my girls run this, hoping their bodies would make it. It is tough to even stumble, it throws you off.We have the Drake Relays this month which is a major event. They make me feel young watching and remembering getting a few wins.
Wow, she was an amazing runner. Yes, the track of life is filled with holes and bumps and slippery spots and we ALL stumble and fall. But it's how we get up and go again that defines who we are.

I have 2 sons that are college runners. This is amazing. I watched it twice as I shared it with my son.
Great video. You're right, so many different meanings! I can apply this to about 50 things going on in my life right now. :)
