How fun! Those are great hiding places! My husband and I can't wait to hide the eggs for our boys this year!!

154 eggs? Wow - I hope your kids find them all, not the dogs!

My sister was telling me of a commercial where the dad painted all the eggs camouflage. Hehe. I like your hiding places. :)

I love the snow. I'm kinda a little sad that it's almost all gone here.

I hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend with your family, Dawn. Only good things, today and every day.

Oh I love a good hunt!! Sometimes the I get to the goodies before the bunny even gets a chance to hide them :)

Careful they don't melt in that HOT SUN ! I think your kids will have a blast finding these - and a bigger blast eating them all.

Happy Easter Dawn !

Those dogs' superior scent tracking skills will be put to very good use this weekend:-)

We haven't done a hunt in so long...That's the one thing that I miss when kids grow up, doing fun things like Easter egg hunts with them. I sure hope they find them all ;)

What fun! I miss that stuff.
Makes me long for grandkids ;)
HAPPY EASTER!

Those eggs are great! Hiding spots are beautiful!

I have not done one single thing yet for Easter. I'm hoping my mother in law pulls through for me on this one. I guess I still have tonight to try to get something done. I feel like a total loser. My poor kiddos :-(

This made me think of year ago letting my big dog out and not knowing the neighbors had skillfully hidden eggs for when their boys woke up.He was in his second one before i got him in.

Dawn this looks like so much fun. I love this idea. Beautiful pics. Have fun. It is pouring rain here for the whole weekend.
I have not done anything for Easter and I have a house full of company I just am too busy or maybe lazy. My little girl comes in tomorrow I will go into hyper Easter mode then. Happy Easter.

You guys are going to have such fun. When my kids were little all the cousins would come to our Easter egg hunt. We have the best pictures of them all. Have a wonderful day and take lots of pictures.

What a lot of eggs! And chocolate ones at that!

You know what makes me smiling...looking at this? It's finding random undiscovered little foil eggs months later....! Happy Easter...great hunting ahead for your family!

I guess we're all assuming they are chocolate eggs. Maybe mommy pulled a fast one and they're something healthy, like hummus and bean sprouts. ;)

Saz said...

Wow! Looks like the kids and dogs are going to have a lot of fun there!

Debbie said...

154 eggs, wow, that's a lot of eggs!! looks like you have some great hiding spots, i always LOVED picking those spots. it's almost as much fun as watching them find them. the big question is, when will the last one be found?!?!?

Tracy said...

that was really cool Dawn...it reminded me of a year my sister and I were little and we took the hard boiled eggs outside to hide them. Imagine my mother's fret when we couldn't find them all!? Ah we eventually did but by that time, they certainly weren't fit to eat :)
Happy Easter!

Happy Easter, Dawn! That's a lot of eggs to hide.

Cuteness! My sister-in-law has been begging me to hide chocolate eggs instead of real. She says it's too gross to eat all 80 eggs (and having grown up on the farm, she won't dare waste a one!).

heehee. You've won my heart here. I'll break the good news to her tomorrow. Maybe we can do half-half. :D Happy Easter, Dawn!

Wow! That is quite a lot of work hiding 154 eggs! They sure made some fun photos and I know you'll have fun tomorrow finding and eating them. :) Have a great hunt!!! Happy Easter!!!

The eggs look beautiful too. Mine are just plain old plastic! Happy Easter!

Did you have as much fun hiding them and the kids had finding them?

Brings back memories of our egg hunts as a kid. Great shot!

Wow I think I found one of your eggs down here in Sydney, they probably rolled down a hole! (And I am afraid I ate it)

Happy Easter!
Just following you along gave me a great workout and enough looks and smells of chocolate eggs to last me all week.
Thanks for such a creative, uplifting post.

Can I join the hunt next year? It looks like lots of fun. Happy Easter! To you, to the four kids, and to the two dogs.

Boy, you take this Easter egg stuff seriously, don't you. 154 eggs? All made out of Godiva chocolate too, right?

GardenOfDaisies said...

Looks like fun! Did they find all 154 eggs? We always find one or two eggs that were missed in the summer.

Dani said...

Im sure your family had fun.
We don't have such tradition. Will share some photos later.

Thank you as always for visiting my blog.

Happy Easter!~

We have five kids (all adults now), but also used to have some MAJOR easter egg hunts!
I like the foil on the eggs.
Nice pics!
