every moment is golden

It seems my need for sleep is being overridden by the need to see
every moment of the day.
I keep thinking that one day I'll catch up on my sleep, but Darn It! ...
there's too much to see and do  in a day that only lasts for 24 hours.

One night last week I stayed up till all hours of the night~ just because the moon was so bright, the night was incredibly warm for our area and time of year,
(and the wine in my hand too good to put down.)

Then  just the other morning my internal alarm clock went off  as usual...far too early.

The sky looked just about ready to put on a display of a sunrise,
so I thought maybe a kayak would be the perfect venue for viewing.

The following captures don't need my words.
{So I'll be quiet for a change.}

Moments of a day can be so golden.

And so worth giving up a few blinks of sleep for.

Wow, that would certainly be worth getting up early for. I've been getting up early myself for some reason! I just drink coffee and watch the Today show. Lol. Maybe I should take up kayaking!

A truly beautiful sunrise. The gold ripples really touched me.

I have this "magical" minute each morning where the sun shines through my kitchen window at just the right angle and bathes the room in goldeness (I know that is not a word, but if should be.) I miss it on cloudy mornings.

When I see sights in nature that are so stunningly gorgeous, I see God at work. These beautiful sights are awesome and breathtaking and sobering. Thank you.

Oh I find it hard to sleep too. Some older person told me I"ll sleep when I am dead. Yup that's what I am going to do I don't want to miss a thing. Just like you. Incredible shots. Love your new camera I am afraid if I got one I would never even go to bed. :) B

I feel the same way. Unfortunately my body talked back and knocked me for a loop last week. Getting better though and soon I will be back at it. Wonderful photographs.
