I prefer Snow Flurries....

....to a Flurried Season!

It's here again.
A ~December weekend~
and not sure if I want to attempt it.

A concert in the city (which means a 2 hour drive one way).
party (which means a rush back from the city and a meal to create).
 A family reunion of sorts (which means family dynamics!).
 A Ball to attend (which means money and the stress of the dress).

Makes you sometimes wish the lazy days of summer were still around.
~~~
My son took this picture - my coffee sitting (probably forgotten) on the table.
Trying to remember the joy for this season as I get caught up in the work.
Picking out the little things to make me smile.
Laughing at silly things.
(example.....
Asking my son why he kept a ruler under his pillow.....
" I wanted to measure how long I had slept for."
:)
~~~

Enjoying my walk views
 (and coming upon fat-free Frosted Mini-Wheats;)

Of course I stop every morning before my bedroom window and grab my favorite time of day.

Getting through my weekend will be pretty easy.
{But I am looking forward to sitting down on Sunday evening once it's all over.}

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

I love your home and the way you have it decorated. You are surrounded by so much beauty, you are a beautiful lady and I'm sure that any dress you pick out for the ball will look fantastic on you! The concert, wow live music to touch your soul, the party to cook for, you have friends to spend quality time with and family, we all should be so blessed to have one, dynamics and all! :-)

I love the giant sized frosted mini wheats, that's how I see these as well. I hope that you have the most fantastic weekend and have some awesome photos to share once you get settled back into routine.

I like your son's reasoning. Makes sense to me.

All I can offer is that I hope you come out the other side of this weekend joyful and unscathed.

'Twould be too much for me, me thinks. haha!

Have a great weekend and don't let the bastards get you down... (how's that?) :)

UGH! I'm worn out just THINKING about your schedule! But your son made me LOL and the frosted mini wheats made me chuckle, so I'm sure you'll be able to fly thru w/o too much stress.

And Nancy's comment was perfect! :)

Wow, lots of fun things to decide on. I know what you mean though. I've been to two Hanukkah parties in the last 4 days and was supposed to go to another one tonight, but when I got home from working and working out I decided to just sit down and stay home here. Love the snow you have, it is so beautiful.
