I tried that last year, Because of just life that was going on, this year, well, I am making them only being very, very careful what kind I make. I am leaning towards only ones with very short time frames. Things like cleaning out the cupboard under my bathroom sink on Saturday. Things like that. :)
Dawn- I don't do resolutions because life has a way of switching things up, then we feel guilty when they do not come to fruition.. You continue to live they way you have, and joy will be yours.. Thank you for being a great blogging pal and look for an email tomorrow from me:-)
I don't make resolutions exactly...I make a mental list of things I'd like to "get done" each year. That way its not so bad if it don't get to it (or if I just forget!)
Dawn, the photo is stunning! and for resolutions; nope, don't make them but I do try to set a goal. However, one blog I follow thinks of a word and tries to live by it in her life in all aspects such as 'serenity' or 'simplify' which I think is a pretty cool idea!
I hear ya. I've never been one to make reservations: It seems so, I don't know, artificially forced and contrived to wake up as the new year approaches and make a list of things you want to change. Shouldn't that be a constant, year-round thing?
Hi Dawn! Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog! I Love your blog and all of your great photos! Stop by anytime and Happy New Year to you and your family... Donna
Hahaha! I know what you mean! I honestly haven't decided if I'm going to have any resolutions this year. In the past I've never really took them seriously...
Dawn, I LOVE your shot! And the quote is one of my favorites, it really is what lies within each one of us and the here and now that are meaningful. Yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery and today is the present. A present is a gift! Cherish the moments, the days look after themselves.
And I'm with you, no resolutions for me neither. I'm too good at breaking them! ;-)

Great post and photos! I agree with you about resolutions! No way, no how!
Only made one. Eat healthy, we'll see!!
I never have made one, I figure keeping happy and helping others is always a good one to pursue for a lifetime goal.

What a perfect quote and I am with you no resolutions only intents. Maybe I will make it a point to read more.
I've never accomplished a resolution, so I've resolved NEVER to make them again...
hey wait!
No resolutions for me this year, I suppose that could be a resolution, but I do like to wing it myself and take life as it comes.
