Fling! Spring

Seriously.....none of us are amused over the Delayed Spring this year.
Did you know that in just over 2 months...it's SUMMER?!

You want to see what my spring looks like as of today?

(And for the record...I am NOT complaining.
I just would like to Fling Spring around a little....
shake it up.

Wake it up!)

Oh Look!
Spring Breakup in my Driveway.

Ooooh.
Is that a rock?!

No Way! There's mud!!
(See? On the left there?)

Awww.....poor suckers.
(And they flew all that Way!!!!)

Blooms!
Real live(?) Blooms!!
~~~~
Oh COME ON Spring.
SPRING already!
(Dear Allison....PLEASE continue on with your lovely BBQ and spring posts.
They DO make me smile. And I am not jealous. In the least;)
That darn snow.. we had 2 inches of it last night after a very mild day. It was up in the 60s again today.. that's so strange. Love the photos though.. you still capture the beauty.
Patience is a virtue my friend! lol I love the photo of your horse, an up close and personal look. Spring is a comin', the city is dirty but most of the slush is off the roads now... maybe I can wash my car again and it'll stay clean for more than the drive home.
Great shots and yup, we're well on our way into spring. I just hope that summer doesn't take it's sweet time.
Ha ha, Dawn ! This is the time when the saying "patience is a virtue" starts to wear a little thin !
By the way, I'm sure you know the definition of a Canadian spring - it's the 15 minutes between winter and summer !
As I read through this post I was feeling an inner pity... "grass - grass - grass your way!". And then I saw your little post script. :) There is plenty of grass and warm sun on my blog for you today, so feel free to wrap your arms around it and take home as much as you want! I wish I could share! :D
It will be really great when it arrives ... I don't like to admit it but I am looking forward to some cooler weather.
How's your training going?
Love the V of birds.
It's going to come, Dawn. It has to!
Oh Dawn, It's coming I promise you. It's just taking a bit longer. I'm seeing people wearing capri's and sandals around town, and it's not really that warm out...It's just they're so desperate for spring to be here, they'll wear anything now that the temps are above 40°.
I LOVE the horse picture! When I got sidetracked by horses on my ride the other day, I just wanted to stay and pet them and keep carrying on my Julie to Horse conversation all day long. They are just so amazing to me!
oh, I hope it comes soon for you! When I was a child and lived in Pennsylvania, it would still be quite cold in May! Hopefully it will be the most gorgeous spring for you!
I have friends in Colorado & Maine that are anxious for spring, too! For me, it has come... though there is still snow to play in in our local mountains just 15 miles up the road. The best of both worlds, I suppose.
Your curious horse id cute!
Cute, Dawn. All I can say is that spring will surely come. When, I don't know.
Your horse seems to be saying -- could you get me some sox?
We dodge violent weather here in the spring, but when our houses aren't getting blown away, it's usually very nice here in Alabama.
That horse does look pretty grumpy, it has to be said! Love the migrating birds pic, that could be on a postcard..
Brian King said...
The horse cracks me up! Cool shot! Still waiting on some semblance of spring here, too.
Great photos, Dawn!
Hey Dawn, I think I here the weatherman saying that there is a little snow on it's way. But I do believe that spring is here.
Janie said...
I love the quizzical look on the horse's fact.
You're obviously more than ready for real spring. Me, too. We had a little taste of it for a week, but we're back to cold and possible snow today.
Not much longer and Spring will really come to your neck of the woods. Hang in there!...Love your pics...Take care!
