You're very adept at marrying great images with deep philosophical quotes. Where DO you find the time to take all those photos and do all that reading?!

Oh, be gone ice!

That is soooo true! and I love this shot. It's good to see that the ice and snow is finally starting to melt.

Elizabeth Grimes said...

I don't think I've ever seen ice do that before! But that quote is just spot on! And the 2 go together just right. :)

See, now that it is leaving you are going to miss it. It didn't hit me like it did last year.I actually was lonely to shuffle in that white stuff.

What an interesting melt pattern of the icicles.

Geez, I hope these photos weren't taken recently.

Anyhoos, there's too much good stuff in life to hold on to the bad stuff. It's a waste of precious real estate. If you know what I mean. :)

Yikes! That looks terrifying. Very good quote!

Saz said...

That would be very scary if it snapped! Very nicely shot, love the quote you put with it. (:

Awesome capture Dawn! I wonder if we could find a way to charge and tax those who live in our heads? It wouldn't be for free anymore! lol

Enjoy your week! It's so nice to finally be able to see some of the earth, I just hope that the road I have to go across in a while isn't flooded over, it was getting close last night... (to be continued) lol

Never have seen such "icicles." Amazing. But I have a hard time relating as it's been in the 90s every day for almost two weeks now!

Re your question on Florida Fotos...no fishing. I gave that up years ago plus that little lake is in the middle of downtown Altamonte Springs and I don't think they allow fishing in it. Or swimming. You can sit and look at it, though!

:-)

I needed that quote this morning. Thanks, it would help if I could have the ice fall on my head, it might cool me off. :)

Dawn, I just got your card in the mail today!! What a sweet surprise. And such a pretty picture. It will get hung up in my work room. You made my day, girl. Thanks for being such a sweetheart.

That is pretty interesting, Dawn. I sure hope it was several weeks or months ago, and that spring is there!
