nice try guys.

Remember when you were a kid and you thought if you hid your face,
no one could see you?

Well after I saw these...
my theory on that 'flew out the window'.

We aren't fooled.
No use in hiding.
We can see you~
Loud and clear!

Yep. We do.

Awww -- robins! So happy for you!

Robins are a sweet indication that the seasons are changing. Not that you're looking forward to warmer weather or anything!

I see you run triathlons. I'm impressed, big time!

yippee!!

(when I first saw the title of your post, I had a bit of word dyslexia and thought it read "try nice guys" and I figured it was advice to daughters to stay away from the bad boys and try the nice ones. :))

We used to put our heads under a blanket when watching scary movies. I saw a few flocks of robins stay over the winter. When they come up from Mexico they eat old fernmented berries when crossing a stretch of the Sonoran Desert. They have to stop for a few days to let this wear off.Its fun to watch their promiscuity and crash landings in Yuma, AZ.

My grandmother used to tell me when I was a little kid.. "to behave as if the whole world is looking at me.. even if I ca not see anyone around.."
Have a great day Dawn.

Beautiful pics!! I've been trying to get a robin to co-operate for me long enough for a picture! I love your 'favorite things' in your side-bar as well:)

Everyone morning, as my whole family is eating breakfast, we look out our window and watch all of the robins in our yard! My boys LOVE watching them and are so excited that they're back! Yay spring!

yippy! robins!! we have an abundance of them this year! groups of 15-20 which seems just crazy. glad to have them though. looks like they still have a bit of digging to do for a worm in your neighborhood. :o)

Had a squirrel do that to me the other day. It froze right in front of me and didn't move a muscle. Poor guy didn't think I saw it.

Sometimes I only wish that I could turn my head and others didn't see me but nope, no such luck! lol This post of yours reminds me of grouse are, they can be getting shot at and not even flinch. I guess they think that you can't see them if they don't move... duh!

I love seeing the robins, you're so blessed to live out in the country! Great photos and I love the post!

Ha! Well darn.. I still think that works. Fun shots. :)

Well, that woodpecker (?) IS well-camouflaged ! And I thought I detected a bit of disbelief on the robins' faces - the ones in the trees - as in "how in the world are we supposed to get worms out of that WHITE STUFF !"
