Tucked Away

I've been busy Falling for Moments like these:

My youngest came in to the kitchen this morning and stated,

"On these days, it would seem just awful to stay
Tucked Away
inside your house."

I wholeheartedly agreed.

Wow, you've captured Autumn at it's finest. I miss the country after seeing your photos, the wide open spaces and room to breathe in the crisp autumn air.

Have a great weekend!

With the golden hues of Autumn leaves surrounding you with their glory, I don't blame you for taking time to enjoy before their gone.

Very beautiful, Dawn. Leaves are changing here too and hopefully this week I can be on a river and enjoy it all... And soon, as you reminded me, the snow will fly and it'll be time to wax skis.

Wow! Fall has fallen with vivid alacrity in your neck of the woods! Love it. We have a change of seasons (it was down to about 60 degrees here last night!) but nothing like this and I miss the changing colors.

Beautiful shots! Fall is my season season. I only downside is it's followed by my least favorite season.

Your photos are magnificent.

I agree with your little one that there is no point being stuck indoors when you have days like that.

Here in Ireland on the other hand it is wet and miserable and everywhere looks sad!

Have a very good weekend.

You must have listened to your son's wisdom and gotten outside a lot to enjoy the autumn. Your photos are beautiful!

Beautiful autumn photos! I particularly like the second photo as it is like walking down an enchanted garden. Have great weekend Dawn!

You've raised your youngest well, Dawn. What a wonderful memory to carry into adulthood.

And the pictures? Divine, as ever. I hope the rains let up tomorrow, as I feel an autumn-themed walkabout building in me.

Terrific, Dawn. Autumn is far more advanced up there than in Hartford.

I enjoyed your comment today. The secret is that I retired a year ago and have all the time in the world to go where I feel like going . . .

Awesome scenery, awesome colours ! And your son expressed what everyone feels when they're cooped up working in an office or in similar situation - just awful !

Reminds me of a Van Morrison song 'These Are The Days'.
