An idea with little substance....

Sand CASTLEs  by the Sea~

sand·cas·tle

  [sand-kas-uhl, -kah-suhl]
noun
1.
a small castlelike structure made of wet sand as by children at a beach.
2.
a plan or idea with little substance.

History is a child building a sand-castle by the sea,
and that child is the whole majesty of man’s power in the world.

Nice shot of the sand castles, ideas with little substance, never thought of it that way. Learn something new everyday :^)

I had a lost childhood. Lived near the ocean but never made sand castles. In my next life . . .

I had no idea there was a second definition for sandcastle. If I use the word sandcastle in a sentence at work to describe a project I think people would look at me like I'm crazy :-).

That's a cool picture. Did you and your kids make the castle?

Did Heraclitis really say that? Nice sandcastle and next week, I'll be on the sea!

Unfortunately, that wasn't the childhood I knew, but my kids sure did.

Anybody remember the song called Sand Castles in the Sky?

Oh those sand castles. Those are the kind of things that always remind me of childhood. Given a chance again, I still would male sand castles.
