It's Coming!

Okay.
I apologize.
I was REALLY determined not to bring up winter and my Snowy Blues again.
But the picture below was too good to pass up.
(It came through my e-mail yesterday and captures the epitome of our winter.)
~~~~~~
"Summer is almost here!
We can now see the deer moving around in our backyard."
(Hopefulness at it's finest;)
Hmmm ... I know how they feel ... just got back from walking the dog in even more fresh snow.
I've seen that - very neat shot! I have to wonder if it's even possible for them to move through snow that deep.
It's funny because it's true.
I wonder where they were going and if they ended up OK. If that is a true picture of wildlife in the snow, that is. -- Inger
I saw some deer fighting the snow like this last year.I posted a few peeking tulip and daffodils today to look at. It is still cold, but the snow is moving on. Saw my first red-winged blackbird today. They are the first to leave and some of the first to come back.
LOL yup that's about how it is right about now! I seen some photos of the moose in the ditch, they were stuck poor things. And here I complain about driving on this sheer ice, my heart goes out to the animals and next time I go to complain I'll just have to remember these poor deer!
Have a fantastic Friday Dawn!
I saw the picture when you posted it on FB. I can't tell you how many times I thought about it. It stuck in my head for some reason. I see deer here all the time (but obviously, never see any snow). I had no idea they walked thru it like that. Yes, I know, a clueless Floridian!
Oh Dear Dawn, what a fantastic photo!
Hey, I certainly don't mind you posting winter because then I have something to be thankful for when it gets chilly here and the temps are NOT where I want them to be...
Hugs dear and Have a fantastic Friday!!!
